Though not as immediately accessible or easy to define as a folk or rock record, Cervenka's second solo album is richer than the first, and in the long run, probably better for it. Tony Gilkyson holds the production reins and Cervenka takes a chance on rocking again on the anthemic "Just Another Perfect Day." Penned with old pal Doe, it's an X-like ode to love in the messed-up late 20th century. Once again, Cervenka proves with the power of her own convictions that things ain't all that bad.
