A bit of a ringer, as these aren't the original recordings, but recuts for C.P. Parker's label from 1962. This group of Orioles is an all-star one, however, with members of the Spaniels, the Castelles and the Dreams counted in the lineup. As for the star of the show, Sonny Til sounds very much the way he did some ten years earlier, and the strong backing makes these new versions stand well on their own. Holiday favorites like "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve" and "Lonely Christmas" make this a marvelous addition to the group's scant discography.
