After the commercial disappointment of his debut, I'm Serious, T.I. dropped himself from his label, founding his own Grand Hustle imprint and teaming with Atlantic to release his sophomore effort. Trap Muzik delivered both commercially and artistically, launching the self-proclaimed King of the South to superstardom. With its triumphant organ lines produced by David Banner, "Rubber Band Man" is a crunk classic, while "Let's Get Away" is as close to a seductive slow jam as T.I. gets. Kanye West produced two tracks, both exemplary of his throwback style: the shimmering "Doin' My Job" and "Let Me Tell You Something," featuring a Zapp & Roger sample.
