To celebrate the 45th anniversary of The Velvet Underground’s self-titled third album, it's been issued in two distinct packages: deluxe and super-deluxe. The deluxe set features the original 10-track album plus a 12-track selection of a 1969 concert in San Francisco. The super-deluxe edition features the 10-track album, the legendary "closet mix" (with a different performance of “Some Kinda Love”), a promotional mono mix of the album, 14 bonus tracks that became parts of the posthumous albums VU and Another View, the 12 live tracks from San Francisco (in a slightly modified order), and six bonus live tracks also from the 1969 show.
