Amazon\u00a0has benefited from robust demand for quick-turnaround delivery, cloud services and gadgets like the Kindle and Echo. In April, the Seattle-based company <span style=\"color: #33cccc;\"><a style=\"color: #33cccc;\" title=\"Amazon Profit Tops Estimates on Fast Delivery, Cloud Growth (1)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2016-04-28\/amazon-sales-top-estimates-as-fast-delivery-options-fuel-growth\" data-tracker-action=\"click\" data-tracker-category=\"recirc\" data-tracker-label=\"inline_link.02\">posted<\/a><\/span> its biggest-ever net income and said first-quarter sales climbed 28 percent, including a 64 percent rise at its cloud-computing division.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Bezos&#8217; rise to the third position has also been helped by the charitable efforts of the third place incumbent, Warren Buffet.\u00a0The 85 year old Berkshire Hathaway Inc. chairman donated\u00a0about $2.2 billion worth of stock this month in his annual gift to the Bill &amp; Melinda Gates Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Bezos&#8217;s total net worth now is\u00a0$65.05 billion.
