You can use a kitchen timer or the timer on your phone. All you need to do is establish a working period that allows you to remain productive and not get bored or strained (it can be 20 minutes, 30 minutes, etc.) \u2013 set your timer for that time, and start working. Once it rings, you can take a 5 to 10-minute break, and then set your timer again for another increment.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><b>Personal Kanban<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 This is more of an organization method, than anything else, and it helps you visualize your tasks and where they are in the process of completion. Move the cards from one column to another as you go, and you will always know what your workload is like.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><b>Don\u2019t break the chain<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 This method is more of a psychological exercise, than a productivity tool, but it relies on your personal motivation. You only need a calendar and a pen. It works like this: once you successfully complete your tasks for the day, you mark an X on the calendar for that day. Then again, the next day, and the next day, and so on. Your goal is to continue to mark Xs for every single day and not break the chain by failing to complete your daily assignment on any given day.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><b>Automate tasks <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Tools and software can be great ways of helping out with tedious tasks that slow down your productivity and kill your motivation.
